Finance Agreement

Check all paperwork is in place and correct information is on all of the confirmation.

Home Charging / Charge Solution In Place

Make sure you have somewhere that you can charge up at night to add enough range to your car. 3-Pin Charging generally is not enough for day to day use. Consider 7KW Home chargers or where you can charge locally.

See the OLEV approved installer list on the gov.uk website by clicking HERE

Electricity Supplier

If you have opted to charge at home consider if your current electricity supplier is appropriate for EV charging. There are many suppliers with tariffs designed for EV charging.

Download Tesla App

Before you arrive to collect your Tesla make sure you have downloaded the Tesla App and watched all of the informational videos provided.

Paint Protection

There are many options to protect paint to suit all budgets:

Paint Protection Film – One of the best protection methods for paint however relatively expensive for full car coverage. This can be combined with Ceramic Coatings to provide high risk areas of a car with the ultimate protection. (Approx. £1500 – £4000 For Professional Application)

Ceramic Coatings – Provides better protection for paint and when applied correctly can provide long lasting protection. (Approx. £750 – £1200 For Professional Application)

Wax and Sealants – Relatively cheap and provides a good level of protection vs no protection at all. (Approx. £20 – £500 For Professional Application)

Tesla Accessories

You may want to consider if you need any additional EV accessories. This may include:

Boot Mats – Depending what you plan to transport in your boot these provide protection from damage.

Boot Organisers – To keep all of your charging and detailing equipment in its place ready to be used.

Cleaning / Detailing – How will you keep your new car clean?Storage

Organisers – Somewhere to put loose change or sunglasses in your centre console in the car.

Screen Protectors – This is used for virtually everything you do in your new car. Personally think these are a good idea.

Phone Chargers – How will you charge your phone whilst on the move?

Key Holders  – Will you need to give someone your key card?

Documentation

Print out any required documentation (Proof Of Insurance, Finance Agreement, Proof Of Final Invoice Payment)

Wi-Fi Connection

Ensure you have a suitably stable Wi-Fi connection available to update your cars software. This can be as simple as checking your home reaches where you park your car.
